Koissi Savi

Koissi Savi is a Ph.D. candidate in Ecology at the University of Bonn, Germany. His research focuses on the application of system thinking and mathematical modeling to assess the impact of spatially located communities’ behavior on the effectiveness of the insecticide-treated bed-nets for malaria control in Ghana. He recently joins CrisisReady where he is working with Prof Caroline Buckee and Prof Satchit Balsari in the interface differential privacy and epidemiology. Most specifically, his work aims at i) Establishing a catalog of the differential privacy characteristics of the data that we are currently using; ii) Identifying how specific mobility studies aggregate the privacy budget; iii) Assessing how the privacy noise impacts the utility of the metrics after the noise is applied.

His research includes System modeling, group building, network analysis; statistical and mathematical modeling of epidemics.
